BACKGROUND:

John and Lisa Harmon were both born and raised in the Lafayette area. Lisa graduated from Jeff High School in 1985. Later she attended Purdue University and graduated from IU with an elementary education degree after getting married. John attended Harrison High School, graduated from Purdue with a BSEE degree in 1988, and began a 20 year professional career with Delphi Automotive in Kokomo. As the lead controls engineer for the Ford Fusion hybrid battery pack, John was able to see the successful launch of production before leaving the company in 2008.

From 1993 to 1998, John and Lisa managed the startup and operation of a very successful craft mall which featured the work of more than 50 artisans. As their family has grown, they have especially enjoyed the challenge and responsibility of raising their six beautiful children. Several of the girls even have a desire and talent for cleaning like their mother.
